The Classic Caricature team consists of caricaturist Steve Rowley and his partner (and all round organisational whizz) Karen Burgess.
Steve and Karen have worked together for many years, originally as events organisers for a range of cultural venues. We have probably worked with every type of client and event you can imagine, from blue-chip company product launches to small and intimate wedding ceremonies.
We are a West Midlands based caricature team, but work with clients across the whole of the UK.
Nothing makes us happier than putting smiles on faces, and now we get to do that full time as Classic Caricature. The best site on the web for all your personalised and commissioned caricature from photos artwork.
Classic Caricature has a huge range of exciting ‘off the peg’ designs, ready to be turned into personalised original caricature art based on your photos. From classic portraits to hilarious poses and outfits, we have it all. You can even have yourself turned into the walking dead with our unique Zombification portraits! All hand drawn and digitally rendered, no filters!

Meet The Team
Steve
West Midlands Based Caricaturist
Hi! I am the talented one in Classic Caricature (please don’t tell Karen I said that!). I have been drawing cartoons and caricatures for as long as I can remember, and I absolutely love peoples reaction when they see themselves as a fantastic cartoon.
I first met Karen when we worked together as the events team for a group of museums and arts venues in Coventry UK. Clients loved our natural warmth, and care we gave to their events. Eventually we decided to go into business together, putting smiles on peoples faces, and haven’t looked back.
Now we spend our days working on new ideas and fulfilling all manner of requests for caricatures and cartoons. All I need is a couple of nice photos and I can turn anyone into a cartoon that everyone will love. Always funny, but never mean, my style seems to be everyone’s favourite.
When I’m not in the studio working, I love movies, music, board games (and the occasional game of Fortnite!), and reading. Most of all, I love being with my beautiful partner Karen, and as the other half of Classic Caricature, I get to do this all day every day!

Hi everyone! I’m the boss (you can tell Steve I said that!).
I take care of the website, look after orders, answer enquiries, and generally run the business while Steve is busy doodling in the corner!
I enjoy chatting to our customers so please get in touch to discuss any ideas you may have for new caricatures you would like to order. I have worked with Steve for a long time now and still love every minute of it. Balancing his creativity with my organisation skills and attention to detail, we make the perfect team.
I’m also an artist in my own right and enjoy working with papercraft to create lovely decorative pieces. I love board games, pub quizzes, and curling up on the sofa with Steve after a fun day of working.
